The WHB soccer boys have had a busy week, traveling over 500 miles for their three soccer games. The season opener against Adams Friendship was a great start to the year with a win over the Green Devils 5 - 0. Three Barneveld offensive players scored: Forwards Terek Marx, Aidyn Kephart, and Midfielder Cooper Shipman. Center Back, Captain Brady Esch, and Outside Back Trevor Owens helped keep the Green Devils from scoring a goal.
The JV Girls Volleyball Team started their season by winning the Just A Game Season Kick-Off Tournament. Going 3-0 and sweeping all matches against Fall River, Cashton, and Montello. Great Job Ladies!!

Drum roll please... There were (and still are more) totes of trophies in storage at the Barneveld School. Thank you to Jeremy Grabandt for making our vision become a reality. The next time you are visiting Barneveld School, take a stroll to the Lower Commons and view all the Regional and Sectional plaques won in all sports dating back to 1975. These plaques are displayed on 8'x4' platforms that cover a 16'x12' wall. It's massive and it's beautiful. Next project, conference plaques.

The Barneveld School District is excited to partner with Upland Hills to offer physicals at school on Monday, July 24, from 1:30 pm -4:30 pm AND Wednesday, July 26, from 8:30 am -11:30 am for $20 (check or cash) for all student-athletes. The Barneveld School District and WIAA require all High School athletes to obtain a physical every two years. The WIAA only requires middle school students to have a physical during the first year of play.
