Seniors at Forensics Night!
The CESA3 Lit Wars competition took place at SWTC on 3/8/22. Students were asked to read 6 novels in the fall and winter. The Barneveld 5th grade team was made up of Sophie, Dylan and Riley. Barneveld brought home a 3rd place ribbon for the 5th grade team. Students also chose one of the books to be an "expert" and compete in an individual competition on that novel. Dylan brought home a 1st place ribbon and Sophie brought home a 3rd place ribbon. Congrats to these three 5th graders on a great competition!
Family and Friends Forensics Performances have been rescheduled for March 14.
School closing update! Barneveld School District is moving to virtual learning. The school building is closed on March 7th for daytime and evening activities.
Mrs. Hanson and Mr. Ekenberg, along with their students, performed for our elementary students today! A great way to celebrate Music in Our Schools! #BeBarneveld
Mrs. Epping and Mrs. Carden took 25 students to UW Platteville today for all things STEM. The students heard from different presenters in the engineering fields and got to go to 3 different breakout sessions. They loved the hands on activities especially building a hydraulic candy claw. The students each also received the book “The Power Chronicles” from Alliant Energy. (The book has not even been released yet!) Thank you PTO for your support for this field trip. #BeBarneveld
Mrs. Myers’ 2nd grade and Ms. Bosch’s American Lit juniors just couldn’t wait to meet their new Writing Buddies! Pajama Day was the day to write poetry. They created some gems!!
