Greetings Barneveld staff, students, and community members.
Over the course of the last several weeks, we have been working diligently with Iowa County Schools, the Iowa County Health Department, and Emergency Management in preparation for the start of the school year. We are fortunate to have a great team to work with and the attached letter is a reflection of our collective efforts.
Have a great weekend!

Help me to welcome the new elementary teachers to the Barneveld School District Team!
Ben Lenerz
I am Mr. Ben Lenerz, a University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh graduate and recently moved back to the Madison Area. Originally, I am from Sauk City and am very excited to be a part of the Barneveld community. As the Elementary Special Education Teacher, I will work with numerous students to provide differentiated instruction that will best meet the needs of the students. I am extremely motivated to be an advocate for all students and look forward to the start of the school year.
Jamie Sage
My name is Ms. Jamie Sage. I am the new Kindergarten teacher at Barneveld Elementary and am so grateful to be a part of this community! I grew up in Cross Plains, Wisconsin and recently moved back. I went to college at UW-La Crosse and worked there as a first grade and kindergarten teacher for six years. I enjoy yoga and mindfulness, the outdoors, and the arts! I am so happy to be back to my roots and settle into this new teaching position. I look forward to being a part of Barneveld and already feel so welcomed and at home! Thanks, I look forward to
meeting you!
Lindsey Bollig
My name is Lindsey Bollig and I couldn’t be more excited to be the new 4th grade teacher in the Barneveld School District and member of the community! I grew up and graduated from Mt. Horeb where I played softball, basketball and volleyball. I attended Madison College for 2 years where I was also a member of the WolfPack softball team. I then went to UW-Platteville where I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. I wanted to become a teacher so I can have and make an impact on students’ lives and show them that they are capable of anything they put their minds to!
